Wreck Oil Removal Operation

After wrecks’ environment risk analysis (WERA) the actual oil removal operations (ORO) will be carried out to the selected wrecks that cause the greatest risk for the environment.

Also in the wrecks’ monitoring phase some leaks or possibilities for major spills may be found and urgent actions have to be made for the oil removal of the wrecks that cause major environmental risks. Company’s continuous preparedness for oil removal operations is essential. Personnel and equipment have to be available when a possible sudden leak or a spill occurs.
